The BMC provided the paints and required material.  BMC commissioner Manish Singh said that this would not only beautify the walls but also provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their skills. Besides, this would also save the walls from unauthorized posters and advertisements, he added.

Earlier, the divisional commissioner K K Singh and the district collector S K Mishra also visited the site and praised the students for their work. Most of the students made the paintings on the environment related subjects.

The BMC administration requested that educational institutions or the students interested to take part in this programme may contact BMC Education Officer G C Bhavsar on his mobile number 98936-22853.
