Pakistani actress Zeba Ali, who came to Ajmer to pay homage at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddhin Chishti, was sent back to Delhi on Tuesday on charges of violating visa norms, police sources said.
From the travel document of the 63-year-old actress, it was found that she had permission only to travel in Delhi and Roorkee in Uttarakhand, a senior CID official in Ajmer said.
The official said she was asked to leave Ajmer on Tuesday itself.
He said the actress was also "blacklisted" by Rajasthan Home Department. She is expected to fly back to Pakistan on Wednesday.
