Pak hands over 131 arrested Afghans
Cases had been registered against the Afghans under Foreign Act and they have been released on completion of their sentences.
Pakistan's law enforcement agencies released 131 Afghanis and handed them over to the Afghan government at Chaman point on Pakistani-Afghan border, the state-run Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
They were arrested from different areas of southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan, said the report, quoting a law enforcement official.
Cases had been registered against the Afghans under Foreign Act and they have been released on completion of their sentences, the official said here on Sunday.
Pakistani authorities handed over 119 Afghan nationals to Afghan authorities on January 16 and another 93 on January 20 who had been arrested from various parts of Balochistan for entering Pakistan without any legal travel documents, according to APP.
