A Pakistani national who "inadvertently" crossed the Line of Control (LOC) was arrested by army from Poonch district on Tuesday, defence sources said on Wednesday.

Bahadur Khan was apprehended by army at Lunawali area of Mandi tehsil in Jammu, the sources said adding that it was revealed upon inquiry that he had "inadvertently" crossed over to the Indian side of the LOC.

The interrogation is on and Khan may be sent back after the matter is taken up with Pakistani authorities, they added.

Meanwhile, another Pakistani national who was arrested for kidnapping a minor son of police constable about one-and-a-half months back has been brought to the state by Jammu and Kashmir police for further investigation.

Khalid Parvez had kidnapped the son of police constable Mohammad Din in whose house he was putting up as a tenant.
