Pakistani woman asked to leave India

A 40-year-old Pakistani woman, who was staying in Muzaffarnagar for the past 11 years on long term visa, has been asked to leave India by May 23, police sources said on Friday.

A 40-year-old Pakistani woman, who was staying in Muzaffarnagar for the past 11 years on long term visa, has been asked to leave India by May 23, police sources said on Friday.

The woman Rehana Praveen, mother of four children aged between one to eight year, was served the order yesterday after it was found that her visa has not been extended, they said.

Daughter of an Indian woman who had settled in Pakistan, Praveen was married to one Mohammad Saeed of Kairana town of Muzaffarnagar district 11 years ago.

She had applied for Indian nationality after marriage which is pending and she was living with her Indian family on long term visa.

Meanwhile, an official of the district police intelligence department said if the woman did not leave the country by May 23 on her own she would be deported.
