PASSENGERS TRAVELLING by Rajdhani (2435) and Upasana Express (2327) created ruckus when both trains got delayed by several hours near Lucknow on Wednesday. Later in the evening, reports of gas leak in the pantry car of Pushpak Express created commotion at the Lucknow junction and the train was delayed for over an hour. It was later revealed that it was a gas cylinder leak in the pantry car that caused the flutter. The train finally left after the leaking cylinder was removed.

Meanwhile, early on Wednesday morning, the Rajdhani Express was stranded near Harpalganj for nearly four hours after a truck got stuck at a railway crossing early on Wednesday and Upasana Express too was delayed by over three hours at Baksa rail station.  Rajdhani Express was passing through Harpalganj station when a truck got stuck at the railway crossing. The train was stopped at Sri Krishna Nagar station around 3.15 am. After four hours, when passengers created a ruckus the train got signal to leave around 7.15 am.
Upasana Express passengers too suffered when the cooling inside AC compartments stopped. Irate passengers later came out and threatened the railway staff to either rectify the fault or face the music. The passengers were later told that the cooling had stopped because the batteries had discharged.

Worse was in store for Upasana Express passengers when they discovered that there was no water in the compartments. The problem continued even after the train chugged into the Charbagh railway station. Passengers created a ruckus at the station after which the rail administration corrected the anomaly. On Tuesday night, passengers of Shramjivi Express (2392) too had suffered similarly.
