india Updated: Jan 03, 2007 01:53 IST

PAWAN AGRAWAL of MW Friends Group achieved his target of cleaning the City for 51 hours non-stop on Tuesday morning. Agrawal said that the public should take the initiative to keep the City clean instead of blaming the Indore Municipal Corporation always.

He said animals should be fed on vegetable and fruit peel instead of throwing these into garbage. He appealed to all shopkeepers, especially pan shop owners, to keep a dustbin outside the shop and ask customers to drop all waste material and papers into it.

Agrawal also emphasised on reduced use of polythene to prevent drains from clogging. Pawan Agrawal cleaned Indore Press Club premises at the end of his campaign.

Ajay Gupta, Mahesh Goyal, Venudhar Pareda, Divyesh Saxena, Arun Jain, Virji Chhabra, Sanjay Rai, Dilip Verma, Hansraj Suryavanshi and Arun Bagdi were present at the conclusion of his campaign.
