PDP-BJP alliance will successfully complete full term: Deputy CM

Deputy chief minister Nirmal Singh on Thursday said the PDP-BJP alliance would successfully complete its full term. "Although it is a stupendous task to bring the existing system back on track but with our firm determination and vision we will gift the people an accountable and transparent dispensation which they deserve," said Singh, while interacting with prominent citizens of Jammu during an interaction function organised by the civil society members in the backdrop of Eid, Navratras and Diwali festivals.

Singh said Jammu was popularly known as abode of peace where everyone was received with love and affection as hospitality was the basic tenet of our state, which is blessed with unique composite culture and abundant scenic splendour.

He said such events further add to the governments' efforts of creating a comfortable and hospitable atmosphere, besides helping in ensuring equitable development.

Singh said the Jammu region was bestowed with abundant scenic grandeur and potential and the government was envisaging a number of ambitious projects to tap the same to the fullest.

Singh appreciated the organisers for holding the programme, in which prominent citizens from all faiths had come to share their views on common agenda of development and growth of the region. He said that such events not only helped in further cementing the bonds of love and amity but also proved to be of great significance in taking the development profile further.

The deputy CM said speedy execution of beautification and preservation work on Mubarak Mandi complex, development of Tawi lake, establishment of Rs 201 crore multi parking at general bus stand and Rs 25 crore parking project at Panjtirthi, implementation of R-APDRP were some of the endeavours.
