Opposition PDP on Monday condemned the killing of another youth in the valley calling NC-Congress government of being callous to public and demanded immediate end to the merciless spilling of blood of the innocent.

"It is an appalling scenario where a callous government, instead of addressing the antipathy and distressing condition of the Srinagar youth is mercilessly spilling their blood to prove its might," senior PDP leader and former finance minister Tariq Hameed Karra said in a statement here.

Karra was referring to the killing of Javid Ahmad Malla in alleged firing by CRPF personnel when a group of agitated youth tried to set on fire a mobile bunker in Noorbagh locality of old city on Sunday.

The PDP leader said that the government should punish the people responsible for the killing of innocent Kashmiri youths without any delay.

"Government must without delay punish the guilty responsible for the killing of Inayat Khan, Wamiq Farooq, Zahid Farooq, Tufail Matoo, Mohammad Rafiq Bangroo and Javaid Ahmad Malla to put an end to the reign of terror let loose by the police and security forces here, " Karra said.

Warning the government of disastrous consequences if the culprits are not brought to book, he said, "The innocent blood spilling of the city youth must stop, the sooner the better. The police and the security forces personnel responsible for these heinous crimes should be brought to book before it is too late."
