Opposition PDP on Friday said it has nothing to do with the proposed meeting of an all-party delegation from Jammu and Kashmir with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"This is the state government's initiative... They have sought time from the Prime Minister to meet an all-party delegation from the state. We have nothing to do with it as we were not part of the all party meet convened by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah last month", PDP President Mehbooba Mufti told PTI.
However, she said her party has been asking Prime Minister to take initiative on his own to discuss the problems being faced by the people of the state and how to solve them.
Home Minister P Chidambaram had told the Rajya Sabha that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would be receiving an all party delegation from Jammu and Kashmir, possibily next Monday, and that leaders of parties in Parliament would also be called for a meeting.
