Love knows no bounds. A resident of Rajendra Nagar Sector-3 area of Ghaziabad announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for anyone who would help trace his 13-month-old Doberman, which went missing from his Vaishali Sector-5 office on October 10.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Ashwini Singh said that his entire family is upset since the day their pet went missing. “He was like a family member and was fully trained. We made him undergo six months training and also employed two caretakers to look after him. None of the family member has consumed food since the day he went missing,” Singh said.

Singh is currently engaged in media industry and publishes a magazine and undertakes serial-making agency for a television channel. “I have announced a reward of R5 lakh in cash for the person who would help me get back my pet,” Singh added.

Singh has lodged a complaint at Indirapuram police station to trace the black-coloured missing pet named Shanky.

“We have also printed hundreds of pamphlets bearing the pictures of the pet and his habits. Pamphlet distributors have been deployed in trans-Hindon areas,” said Sarvjeet Singh, Singh’s friend.

“He was very dear to all of us. He was very lucky for all of the family members as we have progressed since the day he arrived at the house,” said Sarvjeet Singh.

Indirapuram police station in-charge, Sunil Kumar, said that a complaint was received from the pet owner. “We will investigate and help them locate their pet,” Kumar said.
