THE STATE government is preparing a plan to regularise the services of the Group–C daily wage employees whose services were terminated before June 30, 1991.
Several of these employees were again employed as daily wagers after the intervention of the High Court.
According to sources, the state government would be putting the proposal before the Cabinet for its approval.
Sources said the state government had already started collecting information about the daily wage employees from various districts. Principal secretaries of all the departments hade been directed to gather information about such employees. So far, the government has received information from 41 districts and one dozen departments.
