Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today congratulated wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt for winning bronze medal at the London Olympics, saying he showed "true grit" in his wonderful comeback in the repechage round.

"Dutt showed true grit in his wonderful comeback in the repechage round," Singh said in a statement after the wrestler won the bronze medal in 60 kg freestyle wrestling.
The 29-year-old Yogeshwar, who injured his eye during the bouts, displayed stupendous power and stamina right through the day before prevailing over North Korea's Ri Jong Myong 3-1 in the third round of repechage.
The Haryana born grappler became the third Indian to win an Olympic medal in wrestling after KD Jadhav (1952) and Sushil Kumar (2008).
