Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi are arriving in Guwahati Saturday to provide a heeling touch to the blast injured and will also hold meetings with bureaucrats and top police officers.
Singh and Gandhi would visit the Gauhati Medical College Hospital and the Mohendra Mohan Chowdhury Civil Hospital here and inquire about the wellbeing of the injured, official sources said, adding that they would also visit the nearby blast site at Kamrup (metro) District Deputy Commissioner's office.
The Prime Minister would also held meeting with Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and his cabinet colleagues as well as top civil, police and army officers at Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi international airport in Guwahati, the sources said.
