Police arrest Pak-trained Hizb militant in Jammu

Police on Tuesday arrested two people, including a Pakistan-trained Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) militant, in Jammu, police said.

On a tip-off, police arrested Zaid Ahmed Dar, alias Mubassir, and an HM Over Ground Worker Ateeq Ullah Dar from the city, they said.

A case has been registered at Nawabad police station against the Pakistan-trained militant and investigation is on to know about his other associates, they said.
In another operation, an Over Ground Worker (OGW), hailing from Behota Mohalla Batali of Doda, of HM outfit was arrested on Tuesday on specific information, they said.
