Police nab five terrorists in Punjab

Punjab Police has arrested five terrorists including two women, one of them wife of a dreaded ultra in Kapurthala.

Punjab Police on Monday arrested five terrorists including two women, one of them wife of a dreaded ultra, at Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala.

The five terrorists were identified as Manjit Singh, his wife Devinder Kaur, Jaswinder Singh, Gurcharan Singh and Amanpreet Kaur, DSP (City) Dijinder Singh Dillon said.

He said Amanpreet Kaur is the wife of hardcore terrorist Paramjit Singh Bheora, an accused in the murder of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh.

All the five ultras used to give shelter to Bheora, the DSP said adding some arms and ammunition were recovered from them.
