The Sheena Bora murder mystery has grabbed the headlines with its bizarre developments, web of lies and intriguing relationships.

Police arrested 43-year-old media entrepreneur and founder of 9X Media Indrani Mukerjea, wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, for allegedly killing her daughter Sheena Bora, whom she had passed off as her sister for more than a decade.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria told reporters that Sheena was strangled to death on April 24, 2012 and her body was burned. The charred body was found by Raigad police on May 23, he said.

As the media coverage of the case intensifies, with news organisations pursuing different leads and drawing conclusions in the gruesome case, we ask our readers if such media trials indeed help.
