THE PRE-board exams for higher secondary and high school students of schools run by the Tribal Welfare Department will be conducted from January 29 to February 7, as per the decisions of the State-level core group of the department. The exams will be conducted simultaneously all across the State.
The question papers have already been sent out to different schools. Directives have been issued to all assistant commissioners and district conveners regarding conducting the exams and they have been asked to ensure that the valuation is completed by February 10.
Three sets each of question papers of each subject in high school and the arts and science faculty of higher secondary classes have been sent to the district offices.
The questions papers that have not been sent out by the State headquarters are to be prepared by the district core group. If there are any typing errors in the question papers sent out, the district core groups are to amend them too.
District offices have also been instructed to complete valuation by February 10 and to send out compiled reports to the State headquarters.
The State-level review of the results will be done on February 15. Remedial classes for C and D grade students on the basis of these results will be conducted until the board exams. Other steps for improvement of results will also be taken.
