Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is set to be sworn in for the second term at 5 pm on Friday along with his ministers.

Wrangling among the allies for Cabinet posts is going on and as per the reports, DMK is said to be keen on five cabinet berths and four ministers of state slots. It wants ministries to be given for debutant MPs Azhagiri and Kanimozhi, children of Karunanidhi, Dayanidhi Maran and A Raja and also for new entrants TK Elangovan, Helen Davidson and Jagatrakshakan, a third-term MP.

Meanwhile, the sources said Mamata Banerjee has been insisting on the Railways ministry.

According to the media reports, speculation has been that Pranab Mukherjee is being seen as taking over the Finance Ministry.

Salman Khursheed, Kamal Nath, who has also handled some prominent posts in the past, and SM Krishna are all in the running for the job of Foreign Minister P Chidambaram may remain Home Minister.

Kapil Sibal's name is doing the rounds for the External Affairs as well as the Human Resource and Development Ministry.

Other Congress probables include those comprising the 'young brigade' of Milind Deora, Sachin Pilot, Naveen Jindal, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Jitin Prasada.
