President Pranab Mukherjee was discharged on Friday from Army Research & Referral (R&R) hospital following a coronary angioplasty on December 13.

A coronary angioplasty is a procedure used to open blocked or narrowed arteries in the heart. He was admitted to R&R with a complaint of stomach problems on Saturday.
