What: Pride London Festival.
Background: The Pride London Festival Fortnight started in 2006 when London hosted EuroPride. Pride London is the name of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender registered charity, which arranges LGBT events in London, most notably the annual gay pride parade. It’s one of the most well-attended events in the world, drawing more than 500,000 participants.
When: June 18 to July 4, with the parade on July 3.
What to look forward to: The events that take place during the event feature a number of different entertainment activities including; comedy, debate, film, heritage, literature, talks, theatre, and walks. Numerous gay clubs, hotels, pubs, and restaurants will also be holding events and offering special promotions during London’s Gay PriThe theme for this year’s event is ‘Paint the Town Ruby Red’ in order to celebrate the Gay Liberation Front’s 40th anniversary.
