A small private aircraft, owned by a Kerala-based business group, has made an emergency landing at Kochi International Airport, officials said on Thursday.
The Embraer model 'Thnon-100 type' aircraft, which was returning from Chennai with two passengers on board, made an emergency landing last night after the pilot suspected some fault in the brake-system, officials said.
The aircraft landed safely and the passengers and crew were safe, they said.
On suspecting some fault in the brake-system, the pilot sought clearance from the Air Traffic control for emergency landing following which precautionary measures were taken by Cochin International Airport Limited officials.
Additional fire units and medical staff were engaged, officials said, adding, the small plane has been parked in an isolated bay for checking.
