Investigations into the April 29 mysterious train crash case, in which four persons and were killed and 11 others injured, is on the verge of completion, a top police officer said.

"We got many leads regarding the incident. We got many clues and are confident of completing the investigation within few days. The culprits will be known shortly," Crime Branch - Criminal Investigation Department (CB-CID) DIG SN Sehsha Sai told reporters in Tiruchirappalli on Tuesday.

On April 29, some unauthorised persons had commandeered a suburban Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) train from Chennai Central railway station and rammed it into a moving goods train at Vyasarpadi Jeeva station.
