With his office back in Srinagar, CM Omar Abdullah on Monday said Kashmir was an unresolved problem and promised support to any initiative aimed at its resolution.
“My government will facilitate (dialogue) at all levels. There is need for a positive movement by the Centre in this direction so that both the internal and external dimensions of the (Kashmir) issue are focused on,” said Abdullah, after receiving the guard of honour at civil secretariat.
Refuting the charges of dragging his feat on the issue of the AFSPA, which provides impunity to the army, he said, “Significant progress has taken place on the issue of the revocation of the AFSPA from some areas... The final mile is yet to be crossed.”
