Each day at DLF begins and ends with meditation. The school believes in creating socially responsible citizens.
“We didn’t start the school with a business motive,” principal Seems Jerath said. “Initially, we had only 100 students and we will never go beyond 2,500 students at our existing infrastructure even if the demand for admission rises. Our school system is based on culture and discipline.”
The school bagged the Shiksha Shiromani award in August, a reflection its academic rigour.
DLF has several student clubs — from robotics to reading —and offers a host of activities that push the conventional definition of education.
