Prostitution racket busted in Chhattisgarh

A prostitution racket being run from a woman police officer's house has been busted here with the arrest of six people, including the racket's kingpin.

A police team raided a house owned by sub-inspector Meera Agrawal on Thursday night and arrested six people including four girls. The kingpin of the racket, Mohan Patel, 35, and a customer Anil Dodwani were also arrested.

Patel had taken the house located in the Professors' locality here on rent for running the illegal trade.

Three of the arrested girls aged around 25 belong to Mumbai while the fourth hails from Nagpur. Mohan Patel too is a resident of Nagpur.
