In its ongoing attacks on government and police installations by protesters in Srinagar, an angry mob on Monday night tried to desecrate the grave of former prime minister and chief minister of J-K Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah, who is also the grandfather of present chief minister Omar Abdullah.

Angry over statements made by Union minister Farooq Abdullah, father of Omar Abdullah, in a national television show last night, many protester in Zakura tried to march towards the grave of elder Abdullah near Hazratbal.
