Public sector lender Punjab National Bank on Monday said it would raise Rs 500 crore through issuing bonds.

The bank will be raising Rs 500 crore through the issue of bonds, Punjab National Bank said in a statement to the
Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The proposed date of opening of the issue is September 9 and it would close on the same day, it added.
Shares of Punjab National Bank were trading at Rs 683.90, up 0.37 per cent in afternoon trade on the BSE.
