Rae Bareli polls: Katiyar demands countermanding

Katiyar accused Samajwadi Party and Congress of indulging in booth capturing.

BJP candidate Vinay Katiyar on Monday demanded countermanding of the byelection to the Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat alleging that polling was being rigged.

Katiyar, who has been pitted against Congress President Sonia Gandhi for this seat, accused Samajwadi Party and Congress of indulging in booth capturing.

Both Katiyar and Apna Dal candidate Prabha Singh Lodhi alleged that Samajwadi Part was using muscle power to intimidate voters.
