Rahul Dholakia in search of an actress

Director Rahul Dholakia can’t find a leading lady for his second film Lamha, which is set in Kashmir, reports Vajir Singh.

It’s been almost three years but Rahul Dholakia still has to start work on his next project even though Sarika won a National Award for Best Actress for the critically acclaimed Parzania. Reason: He has still to find a leading lady for Lamha which is being produced by Bunty Walia. The film toplines Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kapoor.

Lamha is set in Kashmir. Dholakia wants to wrap it up in one start-to-finish schedule. Date problems So he requires bulk dates from his cast. While he’s been assured of his heroes’ cooperation, he can’t find a heroine who can give him the dates.

It’s said that Urvashi Sharma (Naqaab) and Jackie Fernandes were screen-tested. But Dholakia was not happy with the results and will now cast a more experienced actress. Only, she’ll need to be generous with her dates. Dholakia intends to commence shooting from November and already has combination dates from both his heroes.
