There is much enthusiasm in the Congress cadres in the state ahead of his visit, which is also linked with the objective of giving a push to NSUI ranks.

"Then, he will visit the Congress Bhawan and address general house of Pradesh Congress Committee and frontal organizations of NSUI, Youth Congress and Sewa Dal. Vital issues concerning party at the national and state level would be discussed there.

Later in the day, Rahul Gandhi will interact with students at Himachal Pradesh University campus in a open, said Thakur.

In the afternoon, Rahul would fly to Dharamsala to have another session of informal chat with students in lower regions of the state.
