Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Monday made an attempt to feel the pulse of youth in the economically backward region of Bundelkhand during a camp organised by the Youth Congress here.

Rahul, who reached Jhansi this afternoon, had detailed interaction for around two and a half hours with the youth on various important issues during Yuva Drishti training camp of the youth wing.

The Congress leader made an attempt to know the opinion of the youth on the relevance of Jan Lokpal Bill proposed by Anna Hazare, and also on issues like truth, ahimsa and Satyagraha.

Rahul spoke with the youth on the Bundelkhand issue and on the position of candidates in the forthcoming state Assembly elections.

The Congress leader advised the youth how to strengthen the party in the state and ways to progress through good politics while urging them to strengthen the organisation by realising their responsibilities.

Later in the evening the Congress leader met party workers at circuit house where he stayed during the night before leaving for Delhi tomorrow morning.
