A suburban railway station on Sunday received a phone call threatening to blow up three other railway stations, railway police said.

"At around 8.30 am a call was received by Station Master of Dahisar railway station saying that the four railway stations would be blown up including Dahisar station," police said.

"Search operations are on at the four stations -- Bandra, Dahisar, Borivali of Western Railway and Ghatkopar station of Central Railway by dog squads but so far nothing has been found," police said.

The call was made from a PCO centre located near Thomas Chawl on S M Dubey Road in suburban Dahisar, they added.
