Railways hang on to senior women's title

Railways retained the second Hockey India Senior Women's National Championship after thrashing Haryana 5-0 in the summit clash here on Tuesday. Vandana Katariya, who scored eight goals in the championship, was named player of the tournament.

Women's India Open from November 30
New Delhi: Defending champion Caroline Hedwall and former champ Laura Davies have confirmed their participation for the tri-sanctioned Hero Women's Indian Open which begins November 30. 108 players from 25 countries will compete for a total of $3 million.
