Raima's honeymoon with Bollywood
Raima Sen tells Sidhi Chadha that she would rather do a good Bengali film than a tacky Bollywood flick.india Updated: Jan 06, 2007 19:09 IST
I have a lot on my plate this New Year. To begin with, I have- HoneymoonTravels Private Limited, Eklavya, Yatra, and The Bong Connection with Rahul Bose and Rajat Kapoor and there are four more releases lined up.
Tollywood vs Bollywood, Nah!
I have worked in both Bengali and Bollywood films, and there is not much difference but for the language. But my first love is of course Bengali. If I get a good Bong movie, I will skip a small Hindi film.
I enjoy reading and watching foreign flicks. I love dancing and have learnt Kathak. It keeps me on my toes when I am not working. Single, ready to mingle! I don’t believe in the concept of a perfect man.
The ‘perfect man’ does not exist. Unfortunately I , am single, so my love life is pretty dull. But no sweat, I like it that way at present. As long as I am busy with work, I don’t need a partner.
Dilli ki sardi:
I love Delhi and I love Delhi’s winter even more. I have a lot of relatives in the city and keep coming here to visit them. Shopping in the city is another high. My haunts are Greater Kailash and South Extension for designer stuff and Janpath for knick-knacks.
Me, the second fiddle:
Yes, I agree I have been and will be a part of a lot of multi-starrers. But if I am not getting good offers in the main lead, it isn’t my fault, is it? It is better to be a part of a film that has good stars than do a tacky solo flick.
Riya and I are inseparable despite our stupid fights. I am her guide in life and also pamper her a lot.
