Highlight Story

In a bid to save tigers from poaching, the Rajasthan government has decided to set up a special tiger cell.

"To be run jointly by the police and forest department, it is likely to be on the lines of the one in Madhya Pradesh," Forest Minister LN Dave said.

Dave said the cell would help check forest and wildlife-related crimes in the state.

"We also plan to open a compressed natural gas (CNG) depot in Sawai Madhopur for vehicles plying inside the Ranthambore National Park to ensure a pollution-free environment for wild animals," he added.
