Rajnath accuses Congress of price rise

BJP's national president Rajanath Singh said that Congress despite being in power for 55 years failed to strengthen the country and pressurised neighbouring countries harbouring terrorists.

BJP's national president Rajanath Singh said that Congress despite being in power for 55 years failed to strengthen the country and pressurised neighbouring countries harbouring terrorists.

Congress retained power for 55 years but failed to make the country strong and put pressure on Pakistan and China allegedly involved in aiding terrorist activities, Rajnath told an election meeting at Satpur near here organised by party candidate Rahul Aher yesterday.

He also accused Congress of pampering Ottavio Quattrochi, the Italian businessman and main accused in multi-crore Bofors scam of 80s.

Accusing Congress-NCP led Democratic Front government in Maharashtra responsible for price hike of essential commodities and corruption, he urged the voters to throw out the government.

He said that Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar's policy was anti farmer that led to more number of farmers commit suicide in the state.
