Former Satyam Computer Services chairman B. Ramalinga Raju, his brother and former Satyam Managing Director B. Rama Raju and ex-CFO of Satyam, Vadlamani Srinivas will remain in jail till February 21.
A local court on Saturday extended the judicial remand of these three prime accused in the Satyam fraud case by two weeks. The remand of the two Pricewaterhouse auditors arrested in connection with the case, S. Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas, was also similarly extended.
It was the fourth extension of the judicial remand of Raju brothers and Vadlamani Srinivas since their arrest last month. However, the Rajus can look forward to a comfortable stay as another local court had, on Friday, granted them the status of “special class prisoner”.
