The string of Rakesh Roshan's Kites got too long and needed a cut to enable it to fly at the box office. That's probably why filmmaker Rakesh Roshan had to take a harsh decision of weeding out a song choreographed by Farah Khan.
The only thing he didn't bother to do was inform the lady about his decision.
Two weeks have lapsed since the decision was taken but Rakesh and director Anurag Basu didn't inform the famous choreographer that her song would no longer be a part of the film.
The salsa number was shot over two-and-a-half days with the lead pair, Hrithik and Barbara Mori. The sensuous song weaves in the romance of English and Spanish.
Farah though took this in good spirit and isn't upset. “I am not upset. It must be for the betterment of Kites. And maybe I will be informed after the final print is out.”
Well Farah, knowing you we aren't surprised!
