Ram temple issue won't help Advani to become PM: Vaghela

Union Textile Minister, Shankersinh Vaghela slammed BJP's prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani for "misleading" people in the name of Ram.

Talking to the news persons in Vadodra on Wednesday , Vaghela said raking up of Ram issue on the eve of Loksabha polls will not help Advani fulfill his desire to become prime minister.

Vaghela termed Advani's statement, given in Nagpur during party's national convention to build Ram temple at Ayodhya, as yet another lie.

Advani has said that BJP was looking for an opportunity to build Ram temple.

"We have seen it happened earlier, it is yet again a lie," Vaghela said reacting to Advani's statement.

Two days after BJP leaders Advani and Rajnathsingh said that building Ram temple at Ayodhya is their party's top priority, Vaghela slammed them for dragging religion and god into politics.

"Some people do not spare even god to grind their axe.
