Joining attack on BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate LK Advani, senior Congress leader and Union Minister Vayalar Ravi on Wednesday said he was in fact the 'weakest man.'

"Advani is said to be an iron man. But he is the weakest man," Ravi told a press meet in Thiruvananthapuram.

On the 'wordy duel' between Prime Minister Manhmohan Singh and Advani, Ravi said the former was prompted to react as the BJP leader's tirade against him had 'crossed all limits.'

Reacting to Advani's allegations that he is a 'weak' Prime Minister,Singh had said the BJP leader had played a "prominent role" in the Babri Masjid demolition, presided over Gujarat riots and failed to prevent terror attacks on Parliament and Red Fort as Home Minister.

Advani was a person who created divisions in society through the Rath Yatra, Ravi alleged.

Ravi said Manmohan Singh was the Congress' Prime Ministerial candidate as the party wanted the next government to be a continuation of the present UPA Government.

On the other hand, the "Third Front" being propped up by the CPI-M did not even have a candidate for the post of prime minister,he said.

He said the UPA Government's 'achievements' was the main plank of the party in the polls. In Kerala, the LDF government's 'failure' would also be a campaign theme,he added.
