Reserve Bank of India governor Raghuram Rajan, who was invited by Indian Institute of Management (IIM-R) as a keynote speaker for its third management conclave, would not attend the event.
Sources said the IIM-R had sent a formal invitation to Rajan to address the conclave, scheduled to be held on October 5 and 6 October on the campus of Maharshi Dayanand University. However, Rajan declined the invitation citing his busy schedule and prior commitments.
The IIM-R has not finalised any other keynote speaker, they added.
Marketing, finance, human resource, operations and information technology experts from various multinational companies are expected to participate in the event.
