A pressure cooker containing five kg of RDX explosives was found near an Army camp at Sitpani in Arunachal Pradesh, officials said on Thursday.

The improvised explosive device was found in a culvert in an area in Lohit district located about two kilometres from Assam's Tinsukia district, where the banned ULFA is active. The device had a wire connected to a battery.

A bomb disposal squad defused the IED, officials said.
