RDX recovered in Punjab on Saturday

The police on Saturday recover 330 grams of RDX explosive, sufficient to blow up a big mall in Punjab.

The police on Saturday recovered 330 grams of RDX, sufficient to blow up a big mall, from an agriculture field near RDX recovered in Punjab.

The explosive was recovered at the instance of one Gurinder Singh, a suspect in Shingar cinema blast, from Mullanpur, 15 kms from here.

Police said that the RDX was recovered at the instance of Gurinder Singh, a Shingar cinema blast suspect.

The police brought him from Phagwara for questioning, where he was arrested recently.

The recovered RDX was hidden in a drainage, police said.

The explosive was sufficient to blow up a big shopping mall.

Director General of Punjab Police NPS Aulakh, who was in Phillaur today, claimed that the Shingar cinema blast case would be solved soon. Six persons were killed in the blast..
