THE OUTGOING Class XII students of Red Rose S S School, Lambakheda, were accorded farewell at a ceremony held on the school premises. The teachers and students presented a memorable programme.

The event began with an entertaining programme in which the students danced and played many exciting games that included questionnaire rounds. The seniors were also accorded a traditional welcome by applying tilaks. They were bid farewell by songs sung by the teachers and the students.

The foundress of the Red Rose Group of Schools Manjula Ponda, secretary Sumeet Ponda and Sejal Ponda lit the ceremonial lamps — a tradition which has been followed by the school for years.

These lamps are symbolic of the future of the students. Neraj Sahu and Asra Saleem were decorated with the titles of Mr and Miss Red Rose. Manjula Ponda, principal Xavier T Daniel, headmistress Jyoti Nagranee and teachers blessed the departing students.
