A missing tribal, who was presumed to be dead, returned home to everybody’s surprise. Fool Singh had been missing from Chhoti Kasrawad village for last 10 days.

On Tuesday, somebody informed Fool Singh's relatives that a dead body was lying along Narmada river bank in Eklara village. The dogs had eaten the body from several places.

The relatives thought it was Fool Singh's body and they buried him after completing police formalities. But Fool Singh, 30, returned home in Kumbhkhet village, which falls under Pati police station on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, he went to Barwani kotwali police station to tell police that he was alive and left for work. Fool Singh is a labourer.

Kotwali police station in-charge MK Dube said that police have taken viscera sample of the body and are investigating about the person whose body was found along the Narmada river bank.
