Leaders of the All-India Jat Aarakshan Sanghrash Samiti on Sunday announced to hold a martyr rally at Mayyar village of the district on September 13. The decision was taken at a meeting of the samiti members, chaired by president Yashpal Malik, at Jat Dharamshala here on Sunday.

Addressing mediapersons, Malik said: "If our demand for reservation will not be met by September 13, we will resort to blocking rail and road traffic in Haryana. The government will be responsible for any untoward incident."

Other Jat leaders who addressed the meeting were Ram Bhagat Malik, Mahendar Singh Punia, BS Ahlawat and Subedar Om Prakash.
