City residents have been facing sewerage problem for long with no solution in sight. In order to get rid of the problem, the residents have started hiring tankers to dispose of the sewage water. Private tankers dump wastewater into the nearby areas, polluting the environment and posing health hazards. The authorities have turned a blind eye to the problem.

Residents of Sushant Lok 1,2 and 3, Rose Wood City, South End Floors, South End Uppals, South City 1 and 2, M2K, Malibu Town, Sector 39, 56 and 57 and Mayfield Garden are facing this problem. Now, the residents are up in arms against the authorities.

With each passing day, the stinking sewage water is increasing and clogging the roads. Builders have plugged off water harvesting system and using storm water pipeline for pumping sewage into the storm water drainage system.

The sewage water is collected in artificial ponds in different areas of Sohna Road, which may contaminate drinking water pipelines at different place.
Master sewage treatment plant in Dhanwapur village, is ready but is yet to be connected with the sewer lines in the city.

Even after so many years, MCG is unable to provide proper sewage and storm water drainage system in the city.
