The Hulk

The Incredible Hulk
Cast : Edward Norton, Liv Tyler
Direction : Louis Leterrier
Rating : **1/2

Following his movie debut five years ago in Ang Lee’s The Hulk, the gargantuan green-skinned superhero returns in this re-imagining of the classic Marvel comic book character.

Helmed by Louis Leterrier (of the Transporter movies),alas what you get this time is a no-brain actioner with mega-budget carnage.

Essentially, it deals with a scientist (Norton) on the run from an US military taskforce. Currently living incognito in Brazil, he’s trying to find prevent himself from turning into a rampaging behemoth. But there’s that megalomaniac villain (Tim Roth) lurking just around the corner.

A competent performance by Edward Norton compensates to a degree, for the otherwise predictable special effects brain-buster.
