RGPV, Bansal enter next round

RGPV AND Bansal College on Saturday entered the next round of the Nodal Cricket Tournament being organised by RITS under the mega festival VIHAN-07 at the college ground.

RGPV AND Bansal College on Saturday entered the next round of the Nodal Cricket Tournament being organised by RITS under the mega festival VIHAN-07 at the college ground.

In the first match, RGPV decided to bat first against TIT. With the help of 60 runs by Karan Shrivastava, the team managed to score 178 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Chasing the target, TIT fell was all out for 160 runs. RGPV won the match by 18 runs. Karan was declared man of the match.

Bansal College defeated Bhabha College in the second match. Batting first, Bhabha College scored 141 runs for the loss of eights wickets in 20 overs. Kunal scored highest 30 runs.

In reply, Bansal team reached the target with the help of 31 runs by Vikas. Dharmendra scored 19 runs. He was declared man of the match.

Radharaman Engineering College (REC) Director Dr AR Siddiqui, Director (Development) Dr AK Trivedi and Director (Mechanical) Dr CM Agrawal presented man of the match trophies.
